Medical chronologies with every entry tied to the page it came from
Records and bills arrive from every provider who treated the client, often hundreds or thousands of pages for one person. A case manager reads every page, builds the chronology, totals the specials and chases what is missing before an attorney can write the demand. The agent does the reading and the charting, so your case manager starts from a draft that points to its sources.
Examples use invented names and figures.
What the agent does
- Step 1Indexes the records
Collects records and bills from the case file and splits them by provider and date of service. Every page gets a number so each entry can point back to it.
- Step 2Builds the chronology
One row per visit with the date, provider, complaint, diagnosis, treatment, and billed and paid amounts. Each row carries the page it came from, and entries read from poor scans are marked for a person to check.
- Step 3Flags what matters
Gaps in treatment and earlier complaints about the same body part go to the top of the chronology. For any record or itemized bill that is missing, it drafts the request letter to the provider.
- Step 4Drafts for the attorney
The specials table and the factual sections of the demand, in your firm's template, queued for the case manager first and then the attorney.
Legal judgment stays with the attorney. That includes the value of the case and the demand amount and its terms, such as any policy-limits demand. The agent never writes a medical opinion. It reports what the records say and where they say it.
- Pages per case and hours to a finished chronology
- Days from records complete to demand sent
- Corrections the case manager made per chronology
- Missing records and bills found before the demand went out
Questions about this agent
Does it work with our case management system?
Injury firms run Filevine, CasePeer, Clio and others, and some of those systems already include a chronology tool. The sprint checks what yours does today. If your system already charts records well, we will tell you and look at the demand or the records requests instead.
How are medical records protected?
The sprint works on redacted or synthetic samples, and closed files get the same confidentiality review as live ones. A build runs in your Microsoft 365 or cloud tenant, built to HIPAA standards, with every page the agent read and every entry it wrote logged. Before go-live we confirm the model provider's terms bar training on your data.
Can it read handwritten or scanned notes?
Typed records and clean scans, yes. Handwritten clinic notes and poor faxes get a lower confidence score, and any entry below your threshold is marked for a person to check against the page image.
